The scenic Kariega Game Reserve in South Africa covers about 9,100 hectares of magnificent wilderness in the Eastern Cape. The lodge is set along the lush Garden Route, making it the perfect “Big 5”  safari destination along the country’s beautiful coast. Being home to some of the richest biodiversity in Southern Africa, the malaria free Reserve features two abundant rivers, namely the picturesque Kariega River and the Bushman’s River.

The Game Reserve is a 15-minute drive away from the sleepy coastal village of Kenton-on-Sea, and 142 km from Port Elizabeth, making it readily available for travellers.

Ukhozi Lodge

The Ukhozi Lodge reflects the romance of Africa and lets guests discover the beautifully appointed, air-conditioned luxury suites which have been crafted from a log. River Lodge

The River Lodge offers guests the choice of ten spacious, air-conditioned and well appointed thatched suites. Located along the Bushman’s River, the suites offer the most discerning of guests luxurious peace and tranquillity. Game Drives

Each day starts off with a thrilling early morning safari into the bush where guests experience the dawn of a new day as the landscape comes to life with the African sunrise.
