Focusing On You
Hello everyone,
We hope you are enjoying the week so far! It’s great to be back celebrating yet another travel season for you. The last time we spoke we talked about the Olympics and how it was such a relief to see everyone together again. Unfortunately we lost one of our greatest inspirations The Late Queen of England Queen Elizabeth II. This touched us profoundly, and we were moved by the huge turnout to her lying in state. Her early travels inspired us and we will be taking a look at destinations she visited through out her lifetime including hotels she stayed and the great things you can do there. We think it’s a great way to pay tribute to such an influential Queen and we pray God gives the King and Queen Consort Strength and resolve to carry on her Legacy. Leave a comment on destinations you want us to highlight first.
What’s new with us?
We are now only accepting payments via our Monzo Account for international trips until further notice. This will indeed impact our customers worldwide and we apologize for the inconvenience this might cause you. Especially to our Nigerian clientele who enjoyed the privilege of paying in Naira for international trips, but we have made this decision with you in mind.
FX purchases can no longer be made for the value on international transactions and we do not want to risk increasing prices and conversion rates to cover the loss we would be making accepting Naira for foreign vacation plans.
How does this impact me?
This is will impact you as a client if you would like to purchase football tickets, cruise and tour packages, book a custom flight and hotel package with our associates, and travel in a group that needs special fares to destinations other than in Africa. This will not affect our regular clients that book their tickets or hotels on our website on their own as we do not retain, or have access to your payment information it goes straight to the airline as per our commitment to zero fraud policy.
Our payments will now be accepted via Monzo for all examples listed above. Clients who prefer to do a wire transfer we will provide the details with your detailed invoice. It will take less than 24 hours turn around time from payment to issuance please ensure the information you provide is accurate.
Our charges will be inclusive of all required tax payments as we will be paying directly to the airlines, cruise-lines and tour operators so your trip is safe with MasterCard. We have made the decision to now go direct to the airlines instead of relying on third party assistance.
Our service charge for all bookings is $100 or 10 percent which ever is greater.
Why are we switching from USD to GBP?
For added convenience to our clients especially those in Nigeria and abroad. This ensures that we have no issues with FX or getting the value deposited in our account as we have encountered in the past. It took us 5 days relying on a third party individual to pay for a fare and we had to keep apologizing an explaining to the client everyday that we were waiting for the deposit from the third party. We don’t want this to ever happen again. So now once payment is made your trip is booked and emailed to you without unnecessary delays. For vacation plans like cruises, a deposit is required so this will enable us to carry out the transaction faster and secure your spot on time. Our MasterCard is globally accepted. We can now show you proof of deposit.
Let us know any helpful suggestions you have for our business and we will be sure to implement them for your convenience.
Sincerely,
