The Best Flank Stake Recipe

Flank steak

1/3 c. olive oil
1/4 c. low-sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp. lime (or lemon) juice
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 lb. flank steak
kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lime juice and brown sugar. Add steak and toss until coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
  2. Remove steak from marinade and pat dry with paper towels. Season lightly with salt (remembering there was soy sauce in the marinade) and pepper.
  3. To grill: Preheat grill to medium-high. Place on grill and cook steak to your liking, about 6 minutes per side for medium-rare. (Cooking time will vary due to thickness of your steak.)
  4. To broil: Preheat oven broiler to high. Place steak on a sheet pan and cook, turning once halfway, until cooked to your liking, about 6 minutes per side for medium-rare. (Cooking time will vary due to thickness of your steak.)

Marry Me Chicken

1 tbsp.extra-virgin olive oil
bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (about 2 pounds)
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp. fresh thyme leaves
1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
3/4 c.low-sodium chicken broth
1/2 c.heavy cream
1/2 c.chopped sun-dried tomatoes
1/4 c.freshly grated Parmesan
Freshly torn basil, for serving
  1. Preheat oven to 375°. In a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil. Season chicken generously with salt and pepper and sear, skin-side down, until golden, 4 to 5 minutes per side. Transfer chicken to a plate and pour off half the fat from skillet.
  2. Return skillet to medium heat and add garlic, thyme, and red pepper flakes. Cook until fragrant, 1 minute, then stir in broth, heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, and Parmesan and season with more salt. Bring to a simmer, then return chicken to skillet, skin-side up.
  3. Transfer skillet to oven and bake until chicken is cooked through (and juices run clear when chicken is pierced with a knife), 17 to 20 minutes.
  4. Garnish with basil and serve.

Best Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon Recipe

Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon Vertical
1/3 c.honey
1/4 sauce
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 pepper flakes
3 tbsp.extra-virgin olive oil, divided
6-oz. salmon fillets, patted dry with a paper towel
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
cloves garlic, minced
lemon, sliced into rounds
Freshly chopped parsley, for garnish
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice and red pepper flakes.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat two tablespoons oil. When oil is hot but not smoking, add salmon skin-side up and season with salt and pepper. Cook salmon until deeply golden, about 6 minutes, then flip over and add remaining tablespoon of oil.
  3. Add garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant, 1 minute. Add the honey mixture and sliced lemons and cook until sauce is reduced by about 1/3. Baste salmon with the sauce.
  4. Garnish with sliced lemon and parsley to serve.
